OVERFLOW PARKING & SHUTTLE SCHEDULES

Parking Details

While parking at the Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center is free, anyone who has been to AdeptiCon in the past knows what a headache it can be to find a spot on Friday and Saturday.

Near the Renaissance Convention Center: The Marriott has opened grass lots on the other side of Thoreau Dr for parking. Zones 1-5 are eligible parking areas. DO NOT park in the AVMA lot. Your vehicle may get towed.

Hyatt Regency: To help alleviate this issue, we have also secured overflow parking at the Hyatt Regency Schaumburg Chicago. The Hyatt Regency is located 5 mins away from the Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center. See the Shuttle Schedule for transportation options to and from the Hyatt Regency Schaumburg Chicago.

Thoreau Drive: Do not park in the AVMA lot – you will be towed  

Hyatt Regency: Do not park in Lot 5 off Walter Payton Drive. All other spaces are available for hotel guest parking.

Shuttle Schedule

A number of shuttles will be running between the Renaissance Convention Center and the Hyatt Regency Schaumburg Chicago roughly every 15-30 minutes during the following times.

If you are with a large group, you will want to drop off people, bags, and miniatures at the Renaissance Convention Center first. This will help us fit as many people on the shuttle as possible.

Shuttles services are free of charge.

AdeptiCon Shuttles #1, #2, and #3

26 passenger – runs between the Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center Hotel and Hyatt Regency Schaumburg Chicago every 20 minutes. and day.

  • Thursday 6:30am – 10:00pm (2 shuttles)
  • Friday 6:30am – 10:00pm (3 shuttles)
  • Saturday 6:30am – 10:00pm (3 shuttles)
  • Sunday 6:30am – 5:00pm (2 shuttles)


Hyatt Regency Shuttle

11 passenger – runs between the Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center Hotel and Hyatt Regency Schaumburg Chicago and is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Specific shuttle times can be reserved ahead of time by calling the front desk.

  • Thursday 7:00am – 10:00pm
  • Friday 7:00am – 10:00pm
  • Saturday 7:00am – 10:00pm
  • Sunday 7:00am – 10:00pm


Woodfield Trolley

Makes several stops, additional details can be found here. Please arrive at the trolley stop 5-10 minutes prior to your departure.
