AdeptiCon 2025: Terrain Tuesday
Today we're showing off some of the work recently completed by the vaunted AdeptiCon Spray Team. To give the details on this latest round of terrain creation, we turn to Spray Team sub-commander, Andrew Gray, a talented painter and hobbyist...
"Another AdeptiCon Spray Team weekend is on the books! About a dozen guys cranked out over 600 pieces of 40K terrain (50 tables, give or take) in less than two days. My pod of three took care of 160 pieces in this scheme we're calling sandstone. Four more totes done, many more to go!

AdeptiCon 2025: Event Preview
It is once again time to present a preview of the vast collection of events planned for 2025. While this listing doesn’t represent the final iteration of this year’s events, as modifications and additions are made right up to registration, the collected games, seminars, classes, and tournaments here give you a very good idea of the scope and variety of 2025’s offerings. And what a list it is, with a record number of events available, ranging from major national tournaments to one-off event games to hobby classes taught by some of the world’s most talented instructors.
So, whether you’re planning on leading your elite squad across a cratered no-man’s land to secure the objective, ordering the last of your knights to charge an evil horde, boarding an enemy space station on a desperate rescue mission, saving New York City from an alien invasion, or just learning how to paint really good eyes, there is absolutely something for you at AdeptiCon 2025.

WIP Wednesday - Not Just Historicals Edition.
It's a bit later on Wednesday (blame the thing I have to do to fund my hobbies), but what are you working on this week? I actually have some non-historical minis to share as my buddy was working on some Tomb Kings for Old World and some Salamanders for LI. Then we have the requisite Soviets. Curse their cheap equipment and piles of material. I've just been plugging along with German infantry. Soon I will get to move on to Hungarian infantry, so trading grey for brown. ... What are you working on? We're 112 days out, so it's not officially crunch time yet. We're about a month out from cart launch, do you know what all you need to paint yet? We ran a Toys for Tots event last Saturday that was Christmas themed. Sadly, Santa was captured by the perfidious Warsaw Pact. Next year, NATO will have to invade Siberia to rescue him from his new workshops. Beyond that, we've been working on Soviet and German infantry for Flames of War.

AdeptiCon 2025: Hilton Garden Inn Added
The Hilton Garden Inn has been added to our now 13 blocks. King and Double Queen rooms are available for $159 to 169 per night.
"Find the Hilton Garden Inn in the historic Loyalty building, built in 1886, within a five-minute walk of the Theater District, Riverwalk, and Historic Third Ward. Fiserv Forum, Baird Center, museums, and Henry Maier Festival Park, home of Summerfest, are all within a mile, and the airport is eight miles away. Enjoy our restaurant and snacks from our 24-hour shop."
This block only appears to be Monday the 24th to Saturday the 29th but the convention dates are the 26th to the 30th. When you change the dates it doubles the rate.

WIP Wednesday Returns!
It's been awhile. Things are getting cool now and we just had some snow here, so that means it's time for WIP Wednesday to return. What have you been working on? I've been mostly focused on game prep recently, have a lot of Germans, Soviets, and Hungarians to get ready for the con. Might try to sneak some Legion Imperialis in, but got to get the work done before the fun stuff. We've done some playtesting for our scenarios which has been encouraging me to hurry up and get everything done.

Toys for Tots/Tanksgiving Team Yankee Mega Battle - Red Sleigh Down
In an attempt to end the decadent Capitalist holiday of Christmas, Warsaw Pact forces have shot Santa's sleigh down! Santa and his elves are keeping the Soviet forces at bay with their supply of ATGMs from the gift bag. NATO forces are rushing to secure him and save Christmas.
Tanksgiving is back and this year it will also be the Toys for Tots event as run by Battlefront. Bring a toy worth at least $15 to play. Bring a 125 point (dynamic points) list for Team Yankee. Armored vehicles only! Aircraft, AA, and Helos are fine, but no infantry or artillery. I'll have some armies available if you don't have one and want to play.

Major Goolsby's has been around so long it should be Colonel Goolsby's by now! I remember frequenting this characterful sports bar back in the old Gen Con days and while the look has changed, the menu has retained the classic, no-nonsense pub fare the Major has become known for. The Cajun chicken is particularly good and this spot should definitely be a stop on your inevitable cheese curd tasting tour of Milwaukee.
