AdeptiCon 2025: Thank You
And just like that, AdeptiCon 2025 is in the books and with it the first year of the Milwaukee Era. Though there were challenges – there always are – by almost every metric, 2025 was a rousing success. With record-setting attendance and events, our first year in Milwaukee was the biggest AdeptiCon ever.
And, like every year, that success could not have been possible without the hard work, diligence, flexibility, and commitment of our staff. Our team, once again, stepped up to the task, and helped the convention settle into its new home. We also want to thank the hundreds of event organizers who presented attendees with a unrivalled slate of amazing tournaments and games. This year’s hobby seminars and classes were, likewise, unmatched and we are grateful to the men and women who shared their knowledge, skill, and talent during the convention.
We’d also like to acknowledge the fantastic staff of the Baird Center and of the various partner hotels. The type of grand migration AdeptiCon underwent was always going to be a challenge, like moving your entire House from Caladan to Arrakis, but with the help of the venue and hotel staffs, it was made far smoother than we had dared hope for. And with remarkably fewer Harkonnen traps. The Great Northern Journey was also made so much more rewarding because we had such passionate and enthusiastic attendees with us along for the ride.
Finally, a big shout out to the people of Milwaukee, from the servers at local restaurants, from bartenders to baristas, to the locals who were happy to give a confused Chicagoan directions – you made us feel at home and for that we are grateful. This inaugural year in Brew Town set a very positive tone and laid a strong foundation for years to come.
To that exciting end, we are very jazzed to announce the dates for AdeptiCon 2026. March 25th through March 29. 2026. We look forward to seeing you back at the Baird Center for year two of the Milwaukee Era! ... See MoreSee Less

Remembering a Legend...
On a solemn note, during our celebration of the tabletop miniatures hobby, we lost a true legend. Paul ‘Fat Bloke’ Sawyer passed away on March 27th. White Dwarf editor and co-founder of Warlord games, Paul was dedicated to the hobby and the community. Paul visited AdeptiCon in 2003 and wrote an article about the convention in White Dwarf 285. His account of his trip and experiences at AdeptiCon would do much for the con’s credibility and profile and ultimately its standing as a world-class event. AdeptiCon wouldn’t be what it is today without Paul’s early praise and that’s not something we’re going to ever forget. Paul Swayer will be greatly missed. ... See MoreSee Less
