AdeptiCon 2025: The AdeptiCup Army Showcase
From the war-torn worlds of the 41st millennium to the red fields of Wesetros, from the beaches of Normandy to Midtown Manhattan, forces are gathering. Twelve-meter tall ‘mechs power up, while the war-horns of Rohan call the hosts to muster at Dunharrow…
The vast and varied armies, teams, and warbands that clash in AdeptiCon’s Team Tournaments represent the pinnacle of the tabletop miniatures hobby. The results of months of effort are displayed at AdeptiCon in an unrivalled presentation and the best of the best are invited to exhibit their skill in the AdeptiCup Army Showcase.
The ultimate prize in this spectacular competition is the AdeptiCup, a travelling trophy for the ‘Best in Show’ display in the Army Showcase. Judged by a renowned group of hobbyists, the AdeptiCup is a prize unmatched in its glory! Does your team have the skill, dedication, and drive to make it to the final level?

Oh man, it's getting closer to the con and I'm still painting. At least I have a five day weekend to get caught up. I've been cranking away on German and Hungarian forces for Flames. This weekend is the great Soviet paint-a-thon where I see if I can paint 60 Soviet vehicles over a weekend. What are you working on now? Are you panicking yet?
I've long since finished my army for the con this year, but I've started work on a Horus Heresy force I'm hoping to bring next year!

Spent a week painting some R2 Romanian tanks that were 3D printed. Went to apply the first wash and the paint wiped right off. Apparently I needed to clean these first.

So, with about a month and a half left before AdeptiCon, I would definitely take this as the sign you’ve been waiting for. Consider it your third Reconciliation of the last of the McKetrick supplicants and get your armies built and painted!
AdeptiCon 2025 has smashed event registration numbers and will be the biggest AdeptiCon yet! This year’s convention will be a historic celebration of the hobby, with a record-breaking offering of tournaments, event games, classes, and seminars. No matter where your particular interests lie or what game your sights are focused on, the AdeptiCon 2025 collection of events has something for you.
And all of this is happening at a new, larger, state of the art venue. The Baird Center in downtown Milwaukee presents the convention with new possibilities and opportunities and provides the perfect space to host this year’s event.
AdeptiCon’s history, like those epics of old, tells a story and each year a new chapter is added. Friends, old and new, share tales of glorious victories and ignominious defeats, in an annual tradition of camaraderie, competition, and a shared love of the hobby. 2025 represents a new era for the convention, a new book in the saga.

Will there still be free admission for the vendor area?
So, I’m hearing rumblings on another FB group that the Baird Center has a pretty strict carry in policy. I know that the Schaumburg venue also had a “policy”, but that was quite loose and a blind eye was largely turned by the venue. I’ve heard the Baird is different, including actual checkpoints that are monitored and enforced. Is there anything that AdeptiCon can tell us about what the restrictions will be, what if anything is allowed, and what alternatives there will be on site? I don’t want to show up with my usual provisions to get turned away and have yo figure out what to do with them if I can’t bring them in.

I know a ton of creators that would be interested in this, but so few actually use facebook anymore. The form is pretty vague, do y'all have any hard data on what kinda creators and following sizes y'all are looking for?
