The Hobby Seminar organizers at AdeptiCon are an experienced bunch, with years of running a hugely successful event within an event. Today they have some advice for students, both new and returning…
So you’ve decided to try out a Hobby Painting Seminar at AdeptiCon and you’re wondering what do I need to bring. Here’s a list of some important items you may find useful:
- A good attitude to learn and work with some of the most amazingly talented instructors.
- Bring a couple of your best paint brushes. Fine and medium points like 0-2’s are good for most classes. Link to article on brushes you might consider.
- Nippers, glue, x-actos. If you’re traveling make sure these items are in your checked bags.
Paints are provided in every class, but please make sure you review the class description for any additional items the class may require. We also provide water cups, paper towels, and wet palettes so no need to worry about those.
OPTIONAL: A rechargeable or battery packed desk lamp is not really necessary but can be very handy. Something like this is appropriate.
